This place does an amazing haircut, they take the time to make sure that it is perfect. Nothing out of place, the fade is always on point. The two people I've seen cutting hair in there from what I can tell speak limited English, i was quite nervous the first time there because I know this neighborhood and I figured that the language barrier would be a problem. The first few times even though communication was minimal the hair cut was still perfect. I usually just bring a photo of what I'm expecting and the guy knocks it out the park. They break out the straight razor and line u up and take the time to earn the cost of the 20$ haircut. I always tip them well because of it, they earn their tip. I gave the barber there what I wanted but ended up cutting it way too short. The barber wasn't even paying attention to what they were doing. They were cutting my hair and watching the TV.

Most mediocre shop in the city. The owner and son look scared when they pick up the clippers. I saw myself age a bit since they took so long for a very basic trimming. No one within that block even goes to this place. I even went so far as to bring pictures of what I wanted and despite this it wasn't enough for him at all; almost seemed like he was doing the opposite of what the pictures displayed. Being the fair and reasonable customer that I am, I still planned to give a 20% tip only to basically have my $20 bill pulled from my hand with no attempt to give me my change as customary. This is the only time I regretted tipping a barber. Ever. To wrap things up, will never, ever go to this place again which is unfortunate for them because I deem myself a very valuable customer who rewards so

I've been getting my haircut at mad Mike's since they opened shop, around 4-1/2 years ago, it's family owned, and that's the way they make you feel, like family,, and have been going ever since, why spoil a good thing, calling in advance for appt. saves tines, I highly recommend this barbershop
