Machi is the queen of braiding as far as I'm concerned! I've worn braids for the past 35yrs.I've been doing my own hair for the past 10yrs because I was tired of sitting in a braid shop for over 8-10hrs every time I went.I read the reviews and saw a lot of comments about how quick she was and decided to give her a try. I was blown away! A style I would have normally sat for over 8hrs to get done, Machi did in a little over 4hrs easily. The braids aren't tight.I didn't come home with a headache like I use to and she was very good with braiding hair on a person with thin edges. She was able to braids those little hairs ya'll 🤣! I also enjoyed watching the African movies with her too. My new braid shop! I'll definitely be coming back! Thank you Machi 😊!

OMG!! I have found my home African braiding shop . I have been to a few and I promise you this is the one. Not only is this place clean, it’s intimate and you feel at home, prices are reasonable and you don’t deal with the typical issues most people have in African braiding shops. This is my second time here and that says a lot. I actually do my own hair year round so when I go to other people you have to be the goat and Machi is exactly that. Gives me exactly what I want and is not unprofessional. And very fast. This is the shop to come to, run don’t walk ladies. Also when I come I always gets waist beads and she has put them on for me every time. I don’t know why but I just love that. Come here if you don’t want a bad experience. I had a horrible experience here. I got my middle part and perimeter of my box braids done here. The woman who did my hair, did my middle part crooked and argued with me as to why should not have to fix it. I own a business as well and I have never argued with my customers on something that they wanted to be fixed. She was literally shouting at me. The part was crooked and she admitted to it and still was argumentative and blamed it on the way I was sitting. Lol. She only needed to fix two braids and kept trying to get me to leave even though I paid full price, she even claimed she started feeling sick. It’s crazy because she was feeling perfectly fine until I told her my part was crooked. She eventually ended up fixing it after I told her I wasn’t leaving, but she made me take the two bra
