Mac Dade Nails

My daughter and I went here for pedicures and nails. Our toes came out amazing! Highly recommend for pedicures. The reason for the 4 star review is the nails and overall customer service and the prices! For two pedicures, manicure, gel refill and eyebrows it was $138. My nails are not shaped properly and the white tips are awful. My nails already chipped. The man who did my nails was nice enough but when we were getting our toes done we tried talking to them and they ignored us. Overall for the price I can go elsewhere for a much better experience.I’m also extremely picky with my nail shape. If you’re in a pinch and need your nails done then it will work. I would stick to something basic.

I was looking for a new salon, and called around to different shops to get prices if they didn't list them on their website. I called MacDade Nail Salon on MacDade boulevard and was told an amount for a refill and gel polish. After filling and filing my nails, I was asked to pay, and was told a different, higher price, by the owner who was doing my nails.When I explained to him I was quoted a lower price he became hostile, irate, angry and loud. His associate who looked to be maybe his wife, who had quoted me the price, sat there and said nothing. When I remarked it sounded like he was calling me a liar, he said yes he was calling me a liar.!!!! I have been going to McDade nail for many, many years. They are wonderful people, out going friendly and very clean. Helen and Kevin are the owners and they do a great job. Everyone that ask me where do you get your nails done, I tell them McDade Nails and they try it and are still going there. ❤️ They have many colors and they do a good job on designs also. 💙💜💚🧡💛🤍 The prices are great and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. My first time here and I am definitely going back! I had a mani-pedi and it was the best. Kim took such good care of me. My pedicure started with the soak then a forever massage of each calf and foot. My goodness I was so relaxed. After was my manicure and it was perfect!

I'm not one to write mean reviews, I don't ever even speak up when I don't like the nail color that I picked. However, yesterday my friend and I came in for pedicures and a full set. My friend didn't want gel on her acrylics because she never needed it, that was her decision as a customer. When she said no, she was questioned over it more than five times, the owner who was doing my nails had asked her why she wouldn't get gel, and even when she said no for the seventh time, we felt very uncomfortable in the chair. It was clear they were talking about the gel. Up until I paid and left they were making comments to my friend. "You would have been out of here faster if you got gel" Weird customer service, not for girls with anxiety who are nonconfrontational.
