Ma'Beks African Braids

This was a fantastic experience. I found Ma'Beks from a recommendation. I literally went online and found an appointment for the next day. My overall experience was great. I love the fact that it is not a busy braiding salon and it's only you and maybe one other customer. Her customer service is great, and wants to make sure you receive what you request. She is very communicative in explaining her process. From the customer service, communication and cleanliness of her salon, I will definitely return. And it goes without saying, her work is fantastic. I only wanted to use one bundle for the boho, and she was creative to the points I have FULL coverage. This is personally my best set of boho braids. I 100% recommend.

WAYY OVER PRICEDDDDDD I paid $345 for waist length large goddess braids supposedly “hair included” but end up paying for the hair got there at 9 am and didn’t leave til 4:15 pm I’ve never sat that long to get my hair braided and it smelt horrible in there like under arms and dead fish was satisfied when I left THE NEXT MORNING !!!!!! I woke up and my hair what knotted as I tried to detangle it and all the hair came out I DO NOT RECOMMEND WASTING YOUR MONEY HERE

***Edited*** I decided to give the Salon another try since my mother hair was so good. I brought my daughter and my mother and was very pleased there were new workers and they really took their time. The braids came out beautiful. I may come back to get some knotless braids for myself. Thank you.

I love this salon! The ladies are exceptionally awesome at what they do. My hair is always very neat, and pretty. Don’t have to worry about my braids being to tight, at all!! My scalp feels very comfortable once my hair is done. The girls are always very very nice. They put a 110% on their quality of work!

My 1st visit to this shop was in August 2023. I went to get a braid down to install a crochet style and really liked the stylist so when I decided that I didn't want to do my own hair, I had to go back to her. Initially I wanted to get kinky twist but was shown a similar style that was really cute. I decided to give it a try and was bit nervous at first because it was unfamiliar to me. The stylist put my mind at ease and assured me that I would like my hair.....I trusted the process and the end results had me 😁....I AM IN LOVE WITH MY HAIR!!!🤩 The stylists were very professional and the atmosphere in the shop was relaxing.
