M nail salon on walnut

It's a real shame that this will be my last time going back to M-Nails on Walnut. My first experience (red nails) as a walk-in was wonderful, and the nail tech did such a great job so it made me want to schedule an appointment with them again. The second (pinkish-white nails) time was terrible and the staff was very rude. The tech did a decent job on my fill, but I don't even want to give them another try because I felt very uncomfortable. When I was explaining that I wanted him to re-apply one of my nails because it felt like stuff could potentially get trapped under it, he acted like that was a problem (I mentioned this over the phone when I made the appointment). The lady who did my nails barely spoke to me. When you enter the salon the people are stand offish. I got a full set of Gel X and I asked for my nails to be shorter and she fully said she was not doing it. She filed my skin so hard my hands are sore. My nails are crooked just please don’t go here.

If I could give a zero I will. I’m not sure how their other services are but getting acrylic gel done here is a sure waste of money. This was my first visit to M-nails and I went because I was working on crunch time and they had good reviews. On getting there, they didn’t have any pink nudes for women of color. I came up with my own solution to this problem by having them mix colors. Forward to 5 days after the nails started popping off. By day 10 I had lost 5 nails already. This has never happened to me in all my years of getting acrylics. I went back to the store, explained the situation and was told I’ll have to pay to get a new set. I left because I wasn’t going to waste my money that way again. Pictures included were taken on day 12.

owners/employees are very nice. the spot itself is very bright and modern looking. I got my first dip powder set and they turned out pretty decent. a little thicker than I like normally but just trying it out because I bartend and am seeing if they last longer than gel. again, still turned out good and I like the color a lot. update: it’s been a month and my nails are still intact 👍

Highly recommended. MeTime. Once a month. I love the little machine Andy uses to gently removed old polish. Prior to that he had to uses solutions removal, first. So old polish comes off easily with the machine. Both Pedicures and Manicures. He had to removed the old polish before placed fresh ones. I am enjoying massages chair for my whole back while he was doing my Pedicures with Gel. Having my coffee with breakfast. So relaxing. For Manicures I request Dip. If it's your first time let them know All Stylist can walk you thru. You can do walk in but better make appointment because they are usually busy. I am very picky when it comes to my hands and feet.
