It is only right as we enter 2026, I share my entire experience for 2025. When I tell you this is MY home, it is. My hair has flourished from YEARS of damage in a matter of 4-8 months and counting. Melina has nourished my scalp like nobody's business!!! Her hands are blessed! From her therapeutic shampoos to the high quality products she puts in my hair. My hair loves her and I love her more! Y'all can keep walking around with bulky sew ins if you want... but if you want it nice, flat, seamless... this is where you have to come!! I’m sharing this so others who value their time and money can make an informed choice. Honestly, I’m tired of some businesses using “Black-owned” as an excuse for giving Black customers experiences they don’t deserve. She did give me a partial refund, which I asked for and appreciated, but I would’ve preferred accountability over excuses. Instead of taking feedback as constructive criticism, she became defensive and dismissive, even though I was respectful the entire time. She later texted me to discontinue services, but honestly, after my experience, it was already clear I wouldn’t be returning🫠 Not sure if that was a power move, but if that made her feel better, so be it. DO NOT BOOK ONLINE, DO NOT BOOK WITH ANNETTE! I booked an appointment on Booksy (advertisement included below) which specified to ask for Annete, and she advertised online. I arrived 10 minutes early to find the stylist wasn’t present even though she received a deposit for the appointment. The salon owner called Annette, who claimed I “booked too late” I don’t know how that is possible when the slots were open and advertised and deposit received. I explained to the salon owner I had traveled from Cambridge and already paid the deposit and would happily wait for service if anyone else could assist. The owner let me know she has 2 back to back weaves and would not be able to accommodate and suggested I come back the next day…..I respectively thanked her, and let her know that would not work

Exceptional service, peaceful local salon. Milena was very welcoming and did exactly what needed to be done! The services I recieved were a shampoo, protein treatment, blowdry and trim. Now my hair is nice and voluminous & I can finally start my healthy hair journey. I couldn't be happier! I will definitely be returning to this establishment as I am very picky with who I allow in my hair :))
