Luxx Nails and Spa

Did a good job, fast and affordable. I did a walk in appointment, which was already a win for me being such short notice. I asked for the classic Full set French tip and that is exactly what I got. It took 45 min and cost $75. I didn’t know any of the nail Techs so I can’t recommend any, but I would like to try other techs because I like to see how others work. I will definitely be back 4/5 stars. Check them out if your in the area 😉

I was looking for a new nail shop, and based on the photos they post online, I assumed they could handle basic nail designs with rhinestones, since that’s what they advertise. When I walked in, I told the owner exactly what I wanted. Another technician took me back for a pedicure, and I showed her the picture. She said they could do it — but then another lady came over and said, “Oh, I don’t think I can do that.” What I asked for was very simple, just a basic design with some rhinestones. Then they told me they don’t even have rhinestones at all. At that point, I had already been seated and started on the pedicure, so now I have to go to another shop to get the actual design I wanted. They should have told me up front that they couldn’t do the design before putting me in the chair. If t

I got a very basic toe polish change and gel fingers nails. No mani or pedi, price was $20 for toes, $35 for hand and they knocked $5 off the price because I paid in cash. So, $50 total. The service was interesting compared to my usual places. For toes it was rather quick: wipe off old polish, buff, & then paint. For my hands it was a bit weird. She started with the drill and shaping, no trim or cuticles, and then didnt have me wash my hands. Immediately went into the base coat and never let the cure light finish its cycle completely. Did the color one or two nails at a time, but also made sure each nail got 2 coats/full coverage before adding the sparkle. Skipping around on the nails definitely threw me off tho. Also, for the final clear coat she filed/shaped first then went straight in

First impression, very clean & professional. An older lady did my nails. She didn’t do a very good job, but was very nice. I didn’t like the first color, so she removed it and did a color I was comfortable with free of charge. I got my nails done last Monday & today is a Wednesday and I already needed a fill in & a nail fell off. If done correctly, acrylics will last you 2 sometimes weeks. I called today & I spoke with susey. She is management very helpful, nice, and professional. I told her my issues and she handled it well. She fixed my nails & gave me a fill in. I will include before & after pictures.

The acrylic set only lasted a week it is not worth the $85. Go to the nail place inside the Florence mall they are 1000 times better
