Luxx Nails and Spa

I’m not sure what his name is, but the guy who has done my nails the past 3 times did a fantastic job. Oh my goodness he’s fantastic! My review would be 5 stars… but I’m giving Luxx a 4 out of 5 stars due to the atmosphere…I guess. When visiting this salon, sometimes I feel unwelcome and as if I am bothering the workers. It’s a bit uncomfortable. However, it could be due to the language barrier and the workers may be trying to be simple and straight to the point, which is fine and makes total sense. Other than that, I have experienced nothing but good service. The acrylic nails and polish stay on for a long time, and the dip powder looks so lovely and amazing. Didn't get results worthy of prices. VERY pricey $$$. Im in town for a wedding & was surprised when asked if I wanted my cuticles cut...when did that become a separate charge getting a manicure? Wanted gold overlay...that was what they had. Nice shop though.

Poor service, I’m here waiting, and I have appointment was at 12:00, and it’s been over 30 minutes, they have people on the website , that doesn’t work anymore, the workers can not read and very nonchalant, I paid for services and I should get treated like better when I set an appointment!

I went on a Tuesday around 11 am. It was thankfully not too crowded. They were able to get me in and out in about an hour and 10 minutes on a manicure and a full acrylic set. The attendant took great care of my nails, took his time, and went over areas again without my pointing things out (i.e., too sharp edge or acrylic under my nail). He didn't try to hold a conversation with me, and I consider that a good thing as I like to zone out and listen to music via airpod. The price was $55, and I left very pleased overall!

I LOVE getting my manicures and pedicures with Jessica! She does a wonderful job. She always works around my busy schedule to get me in the same day. It is very clean and the environment is just wonderful.
