Very disappointing first experience. I booked Marley braids, and it was clear the stylist was inexperienced. Multiple associates had to correct her while she worked, and they admitted she was “refining her technique.” That should never happen when charging full price for a service. If you cannot properly staff a stylist to perform the style, then close off the option to others that are clearly inexperienced and incapable of replicating what is advertised! When I got home, I realized my hair was not twisted to the ends in the back and the next day some of the seemingly fine ones had all started to unravel. I absolutely love my braids. The work is beautiful, detailed, and exactly what I was hoping for. Rebekah, Tramanja, and Blessing were all excellent — professional, skilled, and genuinely attentive throughout the process. I really appreciated that they took the time to assess my hair first and explain what was needed rather than simply braiding over unhealthy hair. Their focus on hair health truly sets them apart. Even though I shampooed and colored my own hair prior to my appointment, I still booked the steam and deep conditioning treatment with Tramanja and I’m glad I did. The care and intention behind their treatments really show in the final result. I had such a wonderful experience at Luxe Braid Bar! I came in for a consultation because I already had braids in that I wasn’t happy with. From the very beginning, the team made me feel heard and taken care of. The young lady at the front walked me through some options and let me know a manager would give me a call within the hour. Right on time, Tramaja called me. I sent her a few pictures of what I was looking for and explained that I didn’t want my hair to feel heavy. She took the time to educate me on different braid styles — explaining what each one would look like, how it should feel, and what would be best for the health of my hair. If you want to get stitched up, ask for the stylist "Blessing", Oh , what a blessing she was to me! The stylists here are VERY professional, accommodating, and recommending to your needs. I lovedddd my birthday hair! Many compliments ✨ Got some colored tribal braids by Mikayla & the quality was A1! also, with being on a time crunch, the owner stepped in along with other stylists whom helped with finishing the final look and i was highly satisfied! i’ll be coming here for all my protective styles 🤎 thank you again luxe braid bar!!
