Lux Nails

Stars are mostly for environment and the pedicure. The gel manicure however was not worth it. Gels are supposed to last close to 2 weeks and I had the mani done on Sunday and by Tuesday two of my nails have peeled cleanly off. Now I work with my hands but I have had gels last a long time before, way more than two days. I have a wedding to attend this weekend and now I’m going to have to get fake press ons because I don’t have time or money for a second mani in a week. I swear they didn’t even put a base layer on which is probably why it came off so easily since it’s usually a fight to get gel off.

I have been going here since May every 2-3 weeks for a dip powder manicure, with an occasional pedicure. I never have trouble with my nails chipping or coming off. They last and look beautiful weeks later. I recommend making an appointment as they get busy most days. They have a variety of colors and can do just about any nail design. As long as you are clear about what you want they will make it happen. I always leave happy and confident with my nails and get compliments often. Great location and friendly staff!

This was the WORST nail experience I have ever experienced so much so I just got it done and am sitting in my car writing this warning others. I was a walk in and they got me right in for pedicure which was actually really great the only reason for 1 star. After I waited under the dryer for 20 min before I politely asked when i was going to get my manicure. They rushed a girl out of the seat and I sit down and the woman rushed through my dip manicure so fast. She cut two of my nails and I started to bleed one on my cuticle and one on the top of my finger to which they had to give me a band aid. My nails are all uneven and look horrible. Always such a great experience! They do an incredible job. As someone who is super picky about my nails, they do a fantastic job every time. Also a pretty good ambiance. Highly recommended!

Lux Nails is amazing! They didn't disappoint me when I returned to get my nails done. The salon is clean and beautiful, and the staff are professional and friendly. I love Jimmy!
