Haven't loved a cut this much in years! I came to Lush after reading other positive reviews, which turned out to be no exaggeration. Marilyn does wonderful, personalized work. She takes time to hear about what's going on with your hair, to understand the specific look you're going for, and she gives great tips how to keep it healthy. She gave me exactly the length & layers I wanted. Genuinely enjoyed the treatment and the conversation, and am looking forward to my next appointment. Thank you so much, Marilyn!

I stumbled across this place while looking for a hair salon in Bayonne. My mom and I desperately needed a haircut and we couldn’t recall any nice hair salons. When I found Lush, I was immediately impressed by the reviews and when I spoke to the owner Marilyn, I immediately got excited. Our experience was absolutely incredible! Marilyn is so talented and accommodating, she gives you exactly what you want, even if you’re like me and don’t have a clue. She’ll show you inspiration pictures and really discuss with you what you’re looking for. We not only got haircuts, but we got a bundle which included a hair treatment and a blowout, it was amazing for the price! Especially since most salons don’t offer a blowout with a haircut. We also got the gloss treatment and the difference was astounding.

I have long, curly, dry, and frizzy hair prone to a lot of tangles. And I’d been having a hair situation (alopecia areata + telogen effluvium) for over a year, so I hadn’t been to a hairstylist for a while. I moved to Bayonne a little over a year ago. I was afraid to even get a trim since I’d lost so much hair to job-related stress + the autoimmune condition, alopecia areata. My alopecia areata is mostly gone. And the hair shedding is subsiding, but there came a situation where my hair was getting tangled so badly (I’d been using a medicated shampoo, which dries hair out) that I developed a bunch of hair mats/hair nets on their way to turning into dreadlocks.
