Lumara of Ny Salon & Day Spa

This salon has been my go-to since I was a child, all the stylists are skilled as well as very accommodating to whatever needs or wants you would like for your hair. I have had only great experiences here and recommend this place for everyone (especially for coloring your hair). The best salon in the area hands down everyone here is very nice. 10/10

Lumara offers one of the best experiences you can have while at the salon! Welcoming and organized staff. But let’s get to it.. Courtney did such an incredible job making my vision come to life! I came in with a rough idea and she made magic happen. Couldn’t be happier!

About a month ago, I probably received the worst haircut I've had in years. The newer stylists need more training and need to fully understand what is being asked. It's a bit nerve-wracking when you've asked for 1.5-2 inches to be trimmed and see 6-7 inches on the floor. I also asked for the layers to be long and there is probably about a 4-inch space in length. Very amateur.

I have been coming here for about 2 years. I see Stephanie and she is usually amazing. However, I went today and she did the color great but it was terrible service. I always book my appt months in advance because when I go to get a service done I always book the next one when I pay. Stephanie colored my hair and then I got glazed. When I was ready to get the glaze out (after 20 minutes) the sink girl prioritized washing other clients so I sat longer with it in my hair. And when I got washed out and ready to blow out Stephanie was still cutting this guys hair and then after that she cut some other guys hair while I was waiting in the seat with soaking wet hair. After having to wait too long I decided to go to the receptionist and say I can’t wait any longer I am starving and I need to pay
