Luigi's Barber Shop

This man has been a barber most of his life. It shows in how effortless he does his work. Both my father and I, two generations, have both gone to Luigi for haircuts since we were children, my father in the 60s, and myself in the 90s. He must truly love his work, i hope he continues his work for as long as he can. Luigi is practically a Bay Ridge institution at this point. Best wishes Luigi, keep up the great work!

Mr. Luigi has been cutting my hair for thirty plus years. I retired 6 years ago and live in Staten Island and still travel into Brooklyn every 2 or 3 weeks to get Mr. Luigi, to cut my hair. In that amount of time, he has become a friend. It's more of an experience and having your haircut by Mr Luigi. Old school Brooklyn. We talk about sports Soccer, baseball & hockey, Mr. Luigi loves the New York Rangers. If you came to get a haircut and some good conversation, a couple of laughs, you came to the right place.

Worst haircut I ever got. He cut my sideburns too short without even asking how much to cut. Hair on top are not properly cut and are long from some place and shorter from other. Hairs are spread all over the floor and cleanliness was terrible. The trimmer he used already had hairs form previous customer on it which means he doesn’t clean the tools properly before using on a customer. This is not how I expect any barber to cut my hair. He also has photos of ladies with immodest clothing displayed in his shops which made me very uncomfortable.

Old school barber with affordable prices and excellent service. Luigi is super friendly and not only can talk sports, he will remember how you like your hair cut after a couple of visits. The only barber I've gone to in over 30 years.

I have been getting a haircut from Luigi; for the past 30 years. He is the best barber in Brooklyn; NY. I love the guy. God bless Luigi.
