Lucky Professional African Hair Braiding

This is the second time I’ve experienced issues with appointment scheduling at this salon. The first time was back in July — the braider arrived an hour late, but the work turned out beautiful so I let it slide. Today, I was scheduled and even called 15 minutes before my appointment to confirm everything was still on track. When I arrived on time, there were already three people waiting to get their hair braided. Because of the delay, I ended up leaving without being serviced at all. Whoever is responsible for scheduling appointments needs to be more organized and transparent. Customers should not have to deal with repeated delays or overbooking. I do not recommend this business.

My first time getting my hair braided here and I want to work the next day, I’ve been getting compliments everywhere I go. The braid technician did a wonderful job on my braids. I will definitely come back. She does not braid tight and my style is very detailed. Everyone was very professional and made sure I left pleased. I love it there.

I called this Shop on Wednesday To set up an appointment for Friday the woman on the phone was very nice and pleasant when I went into the shop Friday not only was she on time but the shop was very clean. I like the fact that she played gospel music and she was very polite. She started on my hair at 10:15 I was out at 2 o’clock there was three people on my head, and every single one of them was very good at what they did. The biggest thing for me was the fact that she cared about my hair she cared about how thin it was and recommended the right hairstyle for me. It is now Monday and my head is not sore at all. I definitely will be going back , I will recommend this shop to anyone that’s trying to get Braids

The owner of the shop does good quality braids and affordable prices. However both of her sisters or co workers older ladies both wears glasses does not properly braid or twist hair with quality. Several of my Senegalese Twist started slipping out just days after. My hair is thick so no excuse for this to even be happening. Why I called up to the shop and I think the owner smh gone say some oh it only last 2 to 3 weeks. Since when and then told me she would have the lady who did my twist to contact me back. That never happened, just money hungry. Also beforehand the sister who did my twist told me $250 then as she begin to start on my hair she said oh I charge you extra $30! I went on ahead and paid but low key I should have left. Won't be returning.
