This place gave me nail fungus. I’ve been doing my nails for years. I was visiting Brooklyn, New York from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and was in my old neighborhood. I had a baby shower to go to that evening and so I needed a quick convenient location, not knowing that I was going to get an infection from this nail salon. My nails are now brittle, weak and destroyed and I’m actually in a lot of pain. I was strongly suggest that you before you get your nails done that you ensure that all of the products that they use have been sanitized. I have never had a fungus in my nail, and I am very upset about the whole thing. I do plan to contact the business about the situation personally. I will be contacting the BBB to file a complaint. That’s why they say looks are deceiving.
I love May, she always gets me right. They work fast too and are so kind. They cater to your preferences, and have been going for months
Coco and May always get me done up and right. Myself, my mom and my younger sister go here. Coco is the design lady. I’m more of a fancy nail kinda gal so Coco has all the products and items needed for what my vision entails. But don’t sleep on May. One week I was only available on coco’s off day so she sent me to May. When I tellll youuuu I wanted Spider-Man nail designs and May gave me Spider-Man nail designs. I kept getting compliments. I even asked May if she’s trying to steal me from coco lol. But nonetheless they both are great. They continuously keep you updated on how the nails look and have no problem re-editing if your not to please with how it’s going. Establishment works very fast and honestly they’re the cheapest I’ve seen in a while. I get nails feet and eyebrows done for $90
Not the best place to get your nails done but, the workers are kind. The establishment is clean enough. Often times I've found the polish to not be applied evenly. Even in the picture I've shared(purple), my gel is lumpy. I wish they cared more about the health of my their customers' nails. 3 years since ^that^ review and nothing has changed. They do not carry a wide range of polish colors and the quality of what they do have are poor. I'm not confident they do a good job sanitizing their tools. I don't like that there is no nail care done before applying tips and acrylic. I doubt I'll be back.
I do not recommend going here. Any time I get acrylic nails done here it looks like it needs a fill in. Got my upper lip waxed and had pimples on my lip the next day because they didn’t change the wax stick from their previous use. On the bright side they do pedicures decent and the workers are kind.
