Guys, so I am not the only one. I see so many reviews about the same tip issue. I am a local Metuchen reaident, and I am sick and tired of them screaming for tips. They will litterly harass you if you won't leave $15 or more. I went last week and I can still feel the pain. These ladies are rude and they can make you feel really uncomfortable infront of other customers if you appreciate them with $10. Looks like the management doesn't pay them at all and they only live off of tips. There has to be something really wrong. In their case, tips are not APPRECIATED its SNATCHED. I am aiming to file a complaint soon.

I visited this spa yesterday, and honestly, I didn’t enjoy the experience. My boyfriend and I had been looking forward to it all week, so it was disappointing. When we walked in, the place looked a bit outdated, but the lady at the front desk was really nice and helped us pick our services. I chose a deep-clean facial and an anti-stress massage. We started with the massage, but instead of relaxing, I felt more stressed. One of the masseuses had headphones on, and the music or whatever she was listening to was loud. On top of that, staff outside the room were talking loudly. The massage itself was just okay. It was not very relaxing. The facial came next, and thankfully, it was a bit quieter by then. I've been buying massage packages for a few years. Today I had an appointment and have her a $15 tip and as I'm leaving they asked me if I could give more. I explained I have all the cash I had and they had the nerve to point to the ATM to ask if I'd put $5 more on there.. When did people get so much audacity that they are now asking what they want tip wise. Definitely won't be going back.

I had a very disappointing experience at this spa, and unfortunately, all the negative reviews about tipping are true. I called to book a facial for my aunt using a Groupon deal. They said they would match the Groupon price, which they did. However, as soon as we arrived, the receptionist made me pay for the service and tip before the facial even started. When I asked about it, she said it was their “policy.” I didn’t want to argue, but the attitude was rude and unwelcoming. During my aunt’s facial, two customers came out from getting massages, and their masseuses demanded more tip, even though they had already tipped 18%. Unfortunately, my experience wasn’t the best. I left feeling worse than when I came in — I actually ended up with a pinched nerve in my back. The session felt rushed, the bench was squeaky, and I had to ask for the music to be turned up just to try to relax. I never really felt comfortable the entire time. Additionally, when we were done, they insisted we give them a tip even though I didnt want to. I said I would provide 20% and then they basically said that wasn’t good enough since it was a Groupon package for a couples massage. It might’ve just been an off day for them, and I’m open to giving the benefit of the doubt, but I wanted to share my experience so hopefully some improvements can be made moving forward.
