Luce's Dominican Salon & Barbershop

I was looking for somewhere to wash, do a big cut and blow dry my hair today and I came across luce’s and decided to give them a try… Let me just say, my hair is very funny to cut and Emily did a fantastic job at cutting my hair…from the moment she started to cut it I knew she was very experienced and knew what she was doing… Not to mention she washed my hair so clean and she was very kind and patient… She styled my hair and I walked out of there feeling like a million dollars…I got a lot of compliments like this it the best my hair ever looked… I am very very pleased and my experience with Emily was an amazing one. Thank you Emily!! Keep up the amazing work…you will definitely be seeing me again soon💕

I never received services here however I did call hours in advance to ask if they could accept me as a walk in by 5:30pm. The young lady that answered the phone said sure after asking what services I needed (wash/blow dry/curls). She then asked my name and said see you then. Only for me to drive 30 min after work and the shop is closed. No one took the courtesy to call me and say they were closing early (considering the website states 7pm). This is extremely unprofessional and was a complete waste of time and a drive that could’ve been prevented.

Be careful going to this place. If you complain about their service, you will be refused service. I was told I had bad energy because I complained in front of another customer, when I was burned on my forehead, after the bad experience I had, (which is below) stopped her, paid her and left. The red flag should have been when Emily told me she wasn't black. That was the only racist thing I needed to hear. I was always cautious since. I was unhappy about the new person not listening to my request for a color (I did not get one because I was washed already). The owner came in and took over, I expressed that I wanted a color, but I wasn't heard, which is fine, and I let it go. Next the owner Emily actually bragged about another customer getting color applied, she stated " that's relaxing the

First timer. Walk in, from the moment I stepped inside the owner was so kind! Came in to get my hair washed, roll, set and straightened. Was blown away by the outcome, it looked great! The owner was patient and took great care of my hair in every step of the process. Best hair salon in Baltimore in my opinion! You won’t regret it!
