LT Spa & Nails

I have been going here for a little bit. I prefer another salon over this after the last few times I have come have been worse each time. When I was first coming they would always put me with the two people who actually knew what they were doing. I’ve held off on writing this review because they were so nice. But after the last couple times, my nails would break, and chip & they would blame me. Today my nail broke, I got them done 4 days ago, I called and asked to come in to fix it and was told I need to be more careful. The color smudged & all of the nails are chipping paint. I do the gel so they shouldn’t be chipping and peeling. The last time they had a gentlemen do my nails, the shape is wonky, uneven and polish is high in random spots. I’ve been going to Kim since she had her other salon so since roughly 2018 to 2019 and followed Kim to LT Spa in 2021. I don’t write a lot of reviews but I love the salon all the nail techs and above all Kim. Her attention to her clients as the owner is amazing. She knows how I love pink colors, sparkles, and even sets aside new sparkle colors she thinks I like. I moved this year a good distance away from the salon and will make the drive to the salon just to get a great manicure and pedicure every two weeks.

I honestly don’t know what to give as a rating because I have gone here for over a year now on a regular basis. I have always loved this place and even have referred people here. They even fixed my nail once when it chipped the same day I got them done. However this last visit really got me irritated and rubbed me the wrong way because as you can see from the picture I showed them in the beginning vs what ended up on my nails they did not end up the same at all (or even similar). My nails ended up so much darker, almost black. What makes it worse is that she said she used the same color we discussed but somehow the acrylic she tested it out on was way lighter than what was on my nails. One of the worst manicures I have ever gotten. The pedicure was fine but definitely rushed. No callus removal or lotion. The gel removal was painful because they did not have enough time to soak. The manicure was super rushed and I witness the manicurist add something to the polish to make it less thick instead of having me pick a different color or opening a new bottle. He then put the thickest top coat on completely unevenly and allowed my nails to dry for less than 5 min. They then smudged because they weren’t dry and he hurried to fix them, leaving lines in them from the fan blowing on super thick, old top coat layers. Will not be back.

I've been coming for years. A few months ago I was there and forgot my loyalty card that was stamped fully. So they gave me a new one and said I could use the $10 reward next time. I bring my daughter and myself so the 2nd card had 4 more. Today we went. Again, both of us and I brought my loyalty card fully stamped. She wouldn't honor it and said they don't do that anymore. I asked her to honor it since I had a total of 16 stamps from the last year. And she refused. Horrible customer service to not honor that. Correct way would be stop stamping cards and finish up by honoring full ones only. Lost 2 customers now.
