I was visiting from Indiana and wanted a little local shop. I found THE place. It’s cash only and when I sat down I didn’t realize. Louis let me run and grab some after the cut. Louis Barbershop in Cambridge, MD is everything a true barbershop should be. Louis takes the time to listen—really listen—to exactly how you want your cut. He asked the right questions, paid attention to every detail, and absolutely nailed the look I had in mind. You can tell he cares not just about the haircut, but about the person in the chair. What really stuck with me, though, was seeing him give a young Navy kid a free cut. No fanfare, no big deal made of it—just genuine respect and appreciation. He told the kid to come back to us safely, and it was one of those moments that shows a person’s true character. T

I stopped by Louis's Barber Shop in Cambridge, MD on my way to a conference and had an outstanding experience. Louis greeted me warmly and took the time to make sure he understood exactly how I wanted my hair cut. Although it was my first time there, he made me feel like a regular. Louis exceeded my expectations with a perfect cut, and he was quick without ever sacrificing quality. I prefer local barbers for their friendly, down-to-earth service, and Louis truly embodies that. Had my first haircut with Louis. I'll be back. Excellent haircut, and Louis is the most hospitable barber I've ever had. Coffee, snacks, great stories, even a couple of jokes! This is truly a full-service barber! You deserve to have this experience too! You'll be glad you did.

Louis is the goat! I moved to the area back in February 2023. I started getting my haircut by Louis sometime in the spring. I haven’t been anywhere else since. Probably one of the nicest people you will ever meet on this earth. I enjoy our conversations.
