Louise Best African Hair Braiding

I’ve been coming here for year I was referred by a friend they do good work, and they do excellent work for an affordable price. As I’m on the phone with a friend speaking about doing my own hair. Luise decided to speak in her native language about me which she assumed I didn’t understand. Then ask me if I braid hair. I responded back and said “Yes, I do”. She then proceeds to state then “why don’t you do it yourself”. I stated because I wanted to sit down for a chance and get my hair done by someone else. I stated to Luise why were you speaking about me in a different language(in a conversation, no argument no attitude) Luise then gets offended and starts yelling saying “you’re not important enough to speak about you behind your back no one is scared of you.” When someone start yelling me

This is one of the most reliable places to get great braids at a good price. The owner Louise is very nice and Sarata does box braids beautifully. The trick is to get there early or call ahead to find out the best time to go, so worth it. I travel from New Jersey for it.

Came here a week ago for boho braids when I left it started knotting & getting tangled. Couple days later my braids started slipping. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Louise did my daughter hair & it came out lovely. However, her co worker don’t know how to braid

Usually a mediocre job, and they will always try to take advantage. For instance, they may not be consistent with the braid sizes, making them smaller in the front and larger in the back to work more quickly. Another thing, the place is really dirty. It smells like there are roaches around, and there are roaches and mouse droppings everywhere. I won't be returning here.

I'm a male and I went here to get a simple 8 braids going down. They couldn't even do this simple task right. First, she gave me 10 braids instead of 8. I didn't ask for 10, I clearly asked for 8 in the beginning. Second, once I got home I noticed the parts were not even symmetrical. This person had to know this was not right as she was doing it if she's been braiding hair for so long. Now I have to wear a crooked parts for the next 2 weeks or just completely take this out. I think this person did this on purpose and she talked on the phone the whole time doing my hair. I won't be going back and am looking for another braider, one that doesn't "African" anywhere in the name. These Africans always seem to be up to something.
