Lorie's African Hair Braiding LLC

I gave my wife $220 for boho bob braids, that took 9hrs from an inexperienced hair dresser. Gave her the wrong hair & couldn't braid right. Let alone know how to curl. She's in tears, that's how bad it is.

I have been going to Lorie's for over 15 years. They do a fantastic job, and braid fast! I have tried other places due to proximity or if I was out of state, and none of them compare to Lorie's. Also, their prices are extremely fair compared to other salons! -Gwen

I called in on a Saturday morning to confirm if they would take walk-ins for my son. They said yes and I was able to come in asap to get 6 straight backs. From the second we walked in, everyone was so sweet and welcoming. My son is almost 3, and they explained that they don’t usually do little ones (which I totally understand) but they would still do his hair since we were already there. My son did cry a bit, but the stylist was still kind and worked as quick as she could. In the end, both me and my son were so happy with how his braids turned out. I will definitely be back! Highly recommend!!

The person who did my hair today was not skilled. If you’re particular about your hair looking really nice and well put together, do yourself a massive favor and find another person/place. They don’t have an eye for the art of braiding. People who go mostly likely do so because of proximity. Mediocre braiding at best. The service is also trash, especially because they were busy bad mouthing the clients in the salon, myself included. Unfortunately, for them, I speak and understand French- they came to find out at the end and we’re embarrassed, needless to say the salon remain quiet from that point on.

First time getting cornrows and Emily did a great job. Took less than an hour and only cost me $35. Only problem I ran into was I didn't know they don't cut hair so I left with my Fro sticking out the side of my head! I looked like Bozo The Clown. ☺️
