My first visit to Looking Good was so positive, I am so happy that I've got a regular barber again right around the corner. Mike is so kind, thorough, friendly, and consistent that I can't imagine going anywhere else. He not only gave me a same-day appointment based on our availability but even called me back when an even earlier time opened up and I could go get my hair cut even sooner. He mentioned that payment is done via cash or check before we even hung up and I arrived there unprepared. And his note-keeping card system ensures a consistent cut every time, and he made sure we covered everything that I might want or need before starting and giving me a great haircut that I really needed—having waited way too long since my last one. I look forward to going back regularly now.

Mike is a sweetheart! He takes his time and listens to you. He will tell you what kind of options you have & real strives to give you exactly what you want. He is very knowledgeable on all things hair! I wanted all on length, mid length hair & he gave me just that. And his shampooing is the best I’ve ever had! I will forever and ever go to him!

Mike at Looking Good is not just a barber or hairstylist, he’s a master craftsmen! I have super thick, curly hair (2B). I’ve tried layers in three different states with at least three times as many hairstylists, and my hair always looked like I had a basketball on the back of my head. Mike actually explained the “science” of hair layering and my hair has never looked better! I’m always getting compliments. His shop is slightly off the beaten path of Leland, but wherever you live, it’s worth the trip. He can style any type of hair on any person and his rates are incredibly reasonable. Give him a try!

I've been coming to Looking Good Family Hair for almost 30 years! In the years past I've wandered off to other locations, only to come back to Mike and I'm not leaving again! I've brought my boys to get there very first cuts (years ago) took pictures, videos, screaming and all! Mike loves every minute of it.
