Michaela from Lockworx is amazing!!!! Everyone was so professional and welcoming from when I stepped in the building to when I left. My hair when I came in was a disaster. It was 9 months since I last got my hair done. Michaela did a really good job with my color/cut and even offered to style my hair. She gave me really good advice about how to style my hair when I’m at home and offered lots of different products. I ended up buying a small sample of a curl cream but wish I bought the full bottle because it’s worked so well!

I couldn’t be happier with how my hair turned out. Idk how Rachel did it but I have never been so excited about my hair. It changes depending on how the light hits it and looks so radiant in the sunlight. She took the time to get an understanding of what I wanted, gave me a little education throughout the process and definitely went about and beyond expectations for the final result!! Rachel was pleasant to talk with, friendly, and joyful throughout the whole process. It also didn’t take as long as I expected. I’m sure that could depend on service requests and hair length… either way I was happy about that as well!! The Salon was clean and the rest of the staff were friendly and pleasant as well. Went to the salon with about 3 inches of growth from a previous red color I did on myself awhile back and came back home with a beautiful calico hair look. Rachel worked so well and did her absolute best with what was given to her to create her art. The previous red color on my hair was a bit stubborn trying to get out while attempting to do blonde pieces for the calico look, but Rachel and I worked things out and did an orange instead of blonde which in my opinion elevates the calico look perfectly! The salon was very welcoming and everyone there was supporting each other which I thought was amazing! :))

I could honestly write a whole book about how AMAZING my experiences with Brooke have been! After moving to Lansing I was a little nervous to find a new salon because I love to change up my hair going from really dark, to red, to highlighted, to the most recent calico trend! And the second I sat down in the chair, I knew I was never going to anyone else for my hair. It was such a change to actually sit down with someone and talk about my goals for my hair, looking at different inspiration photos together, and talk about what would and probably wouldn’t work out with my hair. She truly listens and gives honest advice. Brooke helps me keep my hair happy and healthy while still achieving fun color goals like purple and now maroon. She is an incredibly talented stylist and colorist. My color is always vibrant, dimensional, and grows out beautifully. I completely trust her with my hair and know it will look amazing every time.
