Locker Room Barbershop IB

Amillo is the best! It’s hard to find a barber who can work with a wide range of hair types/textures and we have had plenty of bad experiences at other barbershops until we found him. Perfect spot in IB and the distance from Coronado is great with easy parking next to the gas station. Easy to book him via the Cut app. We booked an appointment that was accepted 30 min prior to appointment. Can’t beat that!

I was really disappointed. I Scheduled an appointment online for a 9am appointment and waited patiently until 9:30am and the store was still locked with no one inside. I get things happen but maybe let customers know if you’ll arrive late for a scheduled appointment. I won’t be booking again.

Came here today and not expecting to receive this, however there's this gentleman there named Daniel he's a Barber there I asked to cut my hair and after hearing my situation with my tearing my meniscus and needing surgery he shocked me by giving me the Best holiday gift this year with the best haircut with a smile and said take care sir and you can take care of me next time when your back on your feet! I had to hold back my tears because this touched me in a way I can't explain! It's because of people like Daniel that makes other's feel appreciated and welcomed and the need to return... Thanks Daniel I'll see you soon...

Disappointed with the cut and service my son received from this shop. Went in for a basic trim and left with his hair completely butchered. Called the next day to speak with owner and got the manager. Was told the stylist my son got was a new barber and when I inquired why he was cutting hair by himself, they informed me he had his license and he’s allowed. I’m not sure if this guy butchered my son’s hair as a sick joke, or if he was truly that inept at cutting hair. Either way he should not be cutting hair by himself and I want to warn others who frequent this shop. I spent more money trying to fix his mess and I have a pretty disappointed 14 year old on my hands as well. Clients beware.

Made an appointment with Cindy and she got my fade and line up super crispy for the weekend. One of the best barbers in San Diego hands down! I am extremely picky about my hair and I couldn’t be happier leaving the shop. Justino’s barbershop is such a beautiful place. Good music and great vibes all around. Thank you guys for such a fun experience. Definitely coming back soon.
