I’ve been going to Miss Joy for about two and a half years, and I actually started my loc journey with her. Since then, my locs have grown so much and stayed healthy and strong the entire time. Miss Joy is extremely knowledgeable and always takes the time to make sure my hair is well cared for. She gives great advice on maintenance and really understands what each client’s hair needs. You can tell she truly cares about her work and her clients. I’m so happy I trusted her with the start of my locs, and I highly recommend her to anyone beginning or continuing their loc journey💛

Amazing! My son is 3 and he did so well with her. Granted he wasn't having it with the hair wash but she adjusted quickly and delivered the cutest style for him that was both easy to manage for me and sustainable. Most importantly, she was quick and his hair is healthy! We'll be returning soon! Its been a month since our visit and his locs are still neat, secure and they look amazing on him. I'm extremely happy with the service from LocJoy.

Joy does an excellent and speedy job. She cares about the health of your hair and creates beautiful styles. I have thick, long locs, past my hips and she was able to wash, retwist and style them (including sitting under the dryer) in an hour and 20 minutes.

New to town and lucked up on a single available appointment. Very professional, great conversation, and I LOVE my hair. I will absolutely be returning!

It was really enjoyable and easy going getting my hair done. She treats your hair with care and caters to how you like. She even fixed my middle part from my starter locs. Definitely will be a returning customer. 10/10
