A nice beach to walk. There are half a dozen parking spaces for non-residents, and they fill up. You can walk to the cliffs beneath the Gay Head light in a few hours, easier at lower tides.
Good for people with dogs and small children. Saw hermit crabs and sand sharks. No waves, narrow beach, not much nonresident parking. Good for swimming and paddle boarding.
Parking can be hit or miss. There are a few spots for visitors but be very careful not to park in the resident spots. The police check regularly and issue tickets. The police officers however are very friendly and courteous, remember they are just doing their job.
Great beach - 10 yds wide, 1 mile long, dog friendly, easy parking on road.
There's no parking but the place is freaking awesome
