I received a Groupon for Christmas, so I booked an appointment online for a women's haircut. Unfortunately, when I went to pay, I was told that the Groupon could not be accepted. I guess it requires a different booking process, but I didn't know since it was my first time and it wasn't really clear on the website. Although I was disappointed, I must say that the receptionist was very accommodating. She offered me a 20% discount, in addition to charging me only the standard price for a haircut, despite me having been assigned a master stylist, which normally costs more. All-in-all, I ended up paying $43.26 for the haircut, which included a wash, conditioning, and style (plus the $20 cash tip I had prepared ahead of time). I came in a few days ago for a trim, shape, and deep condition. I am so happy with how my hair turned out! Usually my hair is super dry and brittle and Elza absolutely brought it back to life! I'm pretty introverted at hair appointments but Elza is a delight to chat with and is so sweet! She made sure to ask me exactly what I wanted for my hair, and also offered styling recommendations based on her knowledge and seeing my hair in person. We ended up going with a subtle face frame - it looks healthy and feels amazing, the hydration has been restored and while I usually opt for a very simple straight across cut, the frame has added a nice bounce to my hair. 10/10 would come back and see Elza! An absolute gem in the heart of Ridgewood! I got a cut and color at Lisa Thomas Salon and I absolutely love it. I wanted a face framing cut like Blackpink Jennie and Elsa really nailed it with such precision and care. She took into account my thick, voluminous hair and beautifully texturized it for the best result. Lisa and Elsa both took me through a thorough consultation since my hair had black box dye and was pretty damaged, and we talked through the best options together. They truly listen and tailor their suggestions to what you want, not what they think you should have. to all my Asians in Bergen County who’s had terrible hair dye, don’t sleep on this salon! Tina is great- really good with color. Shes also fast and on time so I’m in and out without fuss. I’ve seen her for many years and travel over an hour to see her. Highly recommend. Also making appointment is very easy, they answer the phone and get you in promptly.

From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the friendliest staff who instantly make you feel comfortable and welcomed. The atmosphere is upbeat and inviting, and the entire team clearly loves what they do. Tina is an incredible stylist — she truly listens, offers expert advice, and consistently delivers amazing results. My hair always looks and feels its best when I leave.
