LINDA'S AFRICAN HAIR BRAIDING

I used to come to this salon when it was located in Dudley but I have locs now. I took my pre-teen here for the first time. I am absolutely pleased with how her hair came out. Khadijah did an amazing job and she braids fast. The braids and parts are neat and there are no fly aways. I definitely will be bringing my daughter back here to get her hair done.

Binta did an incredibly job with my braids. Her and another Binta worked on me to finish in 4.5 hours which is the fastest I’ve experienced. I would recommend washing and blow drying your hair prior to getting there, but they do have a wash and blow option for $20 if you need.

Completely Played in my hair - I have very short hair- they play like they could braid it , All my braids fell out one bye one over a two week period, if you’re going to go , bring your own hair / no sure what they put in my hair - Buyer Beware. Tired of these shops just chasing money - dirty shops, no customers service- just hustlers - Still Searching

EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. Was told to come, ubered all the way there. I arrive and everyone is staring, the owner told me it was ok to come now and I arrive and there’s no one to do my hair. After back and fourth with salon staff proving the owner told me to come then she tells me 1 hour wait for someone to come…. Posting this as a forewarning If you expect professionalism. The stylists are SO RUDE!

OVERPRICED: $160 for this?!!!! INEFFICIENCY: One week later and the edges of my hair is barely hanging on. A braid actually came out already. UNPROFESSIONAL- having full conversations with each other in foreign language. When I came in Fatima was touching my hair and talking to another hairdresser in an unpleasant tone. DIRTY--hair and oil prints when they opened the doors. *I HAD to tell them to wash the dirty comb that they were gonna use for my hair. When she finished it today she used a dirty towel that smelled like garbage. When I said no she used ANOTHER dirty towel. I removed it but she still used it to wipe my hair off later on. *I saw someone use hair scraps off the ground to braid someone's hair. UNORGANIZED- Starting someone's hair then telling them to wait , so they can serve s
