Jacinta transformed my hair in the worst way possible. Initially, my hair was at its healthiest and thick. Well, this lady heat-DESTROYED it. Ever since I left Jacinta’s chair, my entire head does not revert to curly whatsoever when wet. It’s completely straight and limp all over. Not only that, but it is now very brittle and easily breaks off. She totally fried my hair. She even started recording me without my permission! I told her I do not want to be recorded and she became VERY nasty and defensive. Jacinta also used way too much force with the flat iron, practically throwing it at my scalp with each pass. Ouch! Just zero care overall. SHE SUCKS! 0/10, would never recommend!!! Jacinta didn’t even STYLE my hair either, just straightened it, so it looked flat and lifeless. I SHOULD HAVE

The salon and all the stylists are awesome. Friendly, really wonderful team.....however the man "guarding" the front desk is another story. My fiancé and I have both had separate incidences, and he is not a good representation of what the salon has to offer, specifically, in terms of providing a warm and welcoming environment for all. He, his ego, and inappropriate comments and behavior should be addressed by the owners and removed.

Karin is amazing!! She was very knowledgeable and gave me excellent tips on some issues I’ve been having with my hair and scalp. I’ll definitely be back! I highly recommend Karin!

This place is amazing for three reasons: the location is amazing! it's very close to everything in the South loop. the people are very caring and friendly, they'll help you out with any heair related problem the quality is top tier! they left us with amazing haircuts John George was our stylist and we highly recommend him! he had great suggestions for our hair and awesome execution. the silk press was most definitely worth the price, it left my girlfriend's hair smooth, light and very soft! we arrived a few minutes late but they were very kind and willing to work with us. of course the only downside to this place is that it is VERY popular and the only way to get seen is to make an appointment. so this means that for the most part the available appointments are usually a couple mont

Their new stylist Karin is AMAZING. My hair looks and feels softer than it has in ages. I'm happy I've finally found a stylist who actually takes care of my hair while also having me look fabuloussssssssss. I was nervous being in a new salon with covid going on but the salon set up is wonderful. I will definitely be back.
