Lili's Fusion Restaurant

Dinner was excellent. We shared the grilled octopus, delicious. Also shared the snapper in sauce with sides of plantain and vegetables. Everything was delicious. The owner was friendly and made us welcome. The restaurant has recently reopened so it was quiet. Good luck to them, they deserve to do well.

Recently dined at this newly opened Spanish restaurant and I highly recommend it for its true authentic Spanish dishes. The food and the service was excellent. It is a family owned and operated restaurant in the heart of Coral Gables. The owner is the chef and everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. The place is beautifully decorated with a very inviting atmosphere; a must visit when in the Miami Coral Gables área. I cannot wait to come back.

Do not be fooled by the 5 star reviews. Took over an hour to be served appetisers and then after another hour passed we still hadn’t received our main course on Valentines night. Told that they only had one chef but that’s unacceptable for a Saturday night and on Valentine’s Day of all days. Would not recommend.

Went to grab a quick bite and we grabbed just pan con tumaca, callos a la madrileña and escargot. The pan con tumaca was great, the callos a la madrileña had a great flavor but a lot of small bones from the pig feet. The escargot was good but not a fan of the sauce. Service was good, she was very nice but also the place was empty.

While staying at Hotel Ponce de Leon in Coral Gables, Florida, I walked less than 5 minutes to Lili's a Spanish restaurant. I settled on a plate of salmon, asparagus, sparkling water and fresh bread! My dessert was a marvelous cappuccino con canela (with cinnamon). Enrique was my server and we talked about Miami, Spain and the Great Repblic of Texas. Everyone is so cordial in Coral Gables and I enjoy my adventures in Florida. There are wines/tapas/quesos/paella and more. LIVE MUSIC EVERY FRIDAY! Expand your horizon and step into Spain at 1915 Ponce de Leon/Coral Gables. Relaxing. Romantic. I love sitting at the bar.
