Lee Nails

I was calling around trying to find an apt for Labor Day. Kim told me they were closed, but then said she could make me an apt. I was thankful that she came in just for our appt. My first time here and I wasn’t worried due to the reviews. I spent $130, but I don’t feel like I got my money’s worth. She told me full sets start at $45 and when I showed her the nails I wanted, it jumped to $70. I was pleased she used acrylic for the ombré and not polish. My full set was done in less than 45 min. Kim was very fast, but I can tell it’s quantity over quality. There is no apex on my nails. They are all flat and have no shape around my nail beds. There wasn’t enough acrylic used, they are very thin. I think I paid so much for her time and coming in on her day off. I appreciate the customer service,

I showed a man the picture and asked if he could do what I wanted, he told me yes no problem. This is What I asked for vs what I got. The man kept re doing the “French tip” part, and when he finally got it how he wanted it he only put one coat on it. This took almost 2 hours and was $65. Definitely don’t waste your money or time.

Pedicure was $50 for gel polish/shellac. Great pedicure, loved the way my feet looked and felt afterwards. Awesome job there! The acryllic manicure with matte green was $55. Not the best job I've received for acrylics. One nail is shaped and angled weird. Near the cuticles could have been rounded and shaped better to fit my actual nail bed size. My right hand is shaped better than my left hand. Language barrier and timing prevented me from requesting better shaping. Pics are below. Average rating. *update: I reshaped and repainted my nails using the same acrylic application. The colorful nails are my work, not theirs. The green ones are their work. I used to be a frequent customer and hadn’t had any issues up until my last set. I went in on a Thursday and had to return 3 additional times before Tuesday because DIFFERENT nails broke due to what i could only assume is terrible quality. I’ve never had this issue prior and due to my frequent trips to fix THEIR mistakes they wouldn’t even entertain my request for a simple polish change in exchange for my inconvenience. Though i was completely fed up and unhappy because they obviously don’t care about providing good customer service, i let them again fix the nail. Low and behold... another nail has broken 😂 it’s laughable at this point because it’d be a cold day in Hell before i ever spend another dime here but i just wanted to warn other hardworking women who don’t like to waste their mon

Lee Nails inside the Meijer in Burtonis one of the best nail salons I’ve visited. The shop is older but very clean. The employees are very professional and friendly. There is no wait for walk-ins They have wide variety of services available. Fantastic service
