Le Barbier's Lounge

Great NEW LOCATION, nice upgrade!!!! Lots of space and plenty of chairs to relax while you wait. Definitely worth the move, these skilled barbers now have a location that equals their skill set and quality cuts. Rebranded "Le Barbier's Lounge" and it definitely has that classy lounge vibe.

Should really update their hours online for potential customers. Just drove out for a Saturday morning cut. Blinking barbershop sign and a full house of customers. I walked in and was asked if I was “on the list for today.” After I was told its list only, the door was locked behind me and the blinds were pulled down. Really poor advertising and communication. Don’t trust their google page for hours of operation and it’s definitely not walk in friendly.

This is a top notch barber shop. Great atmosphere and fantastic service. Came in to get a clean cut look for my wedding and am very happy. They only take cash or check but there is an ATM in the waiting room if you don't keep cash.

Revised review: I used to go here when they were based on old mandeville off of Girod street, haircuts were 30 apiece. They only do walk ins so it can easily be a 2 hour wait, but I was OK with this as I could easily head home and was willing to pay the price. I tried going this week at the new location and the price increased 50 percent to 45 dollars. It’s too far to walk in, sign my name, linger for 2 hours when I could book a barber in NOLA and be done in less time. Not to mention it’s now the same price or more than most other barbers in the area. I really do enjoy going here (Taylor’s been cutting my hair for 5+ years at this point) but I can’t validate spending that much time out of the day to get a haircut.

I love all of my experiences here and if you ask for Gavin to cut your hair he will make sure you leave happy!
