I do not recommend this hair stylist! I am beyond disappointed in her unprofessionalism and blatant rudeness. Yesterday was my second appointment with her, she's changed locations since my initial appointment. I'm not familiar with Gwinnett county therefore I wanted to confirm that I had the correct new address. I sent her a screenshot via text asking was this the correct address, she ignored my text. The morning of my appointment, I called to confirm the address (I live over 1 hour away), she proceeded to cut me off by stating: the address on the bookings site is the correct address. She stated this twice as opposed to simply saying: yes, thats the correct address. Secondly, upon arriving 5 minutes before my scheduled appointment, she was still working on a client's hair. I have been going to Zakiya for 5 years now and she is the only stylist I trust with my type 4 natural hair. I go to her for my trims and silk presses and my hair always looks amazing when I leave the salon. She is quick and professional. You don’t have to worry about spending your whole day on the salon!

I had an amazing experience! My hair came out exactly as I asked. It’s seamless, flat and the experience was painless. She provided snacks if needed and the energy was great! I’ll be back for sure!

Second time getting my hair done by Zakiya and I honestly can’t recommend her enough. I originally came to the appointment feeling stressed and discouraged about my hair but she took the time to not only listen and understand my concerns but also offer thoughtful advice.
