Lavish Sound

My husband and I had the pleasure of visiting Lavish Sound for an afternoon date. It's the perfect place to unwind and truly turn your mind "off" and drift into deep relaxation. My husband was surprised that he fell asleep and woke up completely relaxed. I have done a sound bath before, but the owner, Mary Jo, has created a warm and relaxing environment like no other place that I have been to. She is gifted at helping her clients and creates a calm environment as soon as you enter the studio.

This was my first sound bath experience, and I felt comfortable and welcome from the moment I entered the room. The space is serene and calming. Mary Jo has a warm and pleasant demeanor; any anxiety I was carrying about this new experience was assuaged before the session even began! Because of this I was able to settle into my body much quicker. As the session progressed, I felt waves of relaxation washing over me. The calmer I became, the more intense the waves, and the more space I had in my mind to just “be”. Time faded and I was surprised when the session ended! Remarkably, as I continued with my day and reflected on the experience, the positive effects only continued to build. This experience really was like a massage for my inner self. Just finished my sound bath with Mary Jo. Wow, what an experience. I felt sounds in my gut and relaxation beyond words! You would think it’s just a sound, but it is so awesome and beautiful. Thank for this unique experience.

Amazing, relaxing experience! After a stressful week, this was a much needed escape to a beautiful oasis. My husband and I made a date night of it, and left relaxed and rejuvenated. Even the next day at work, I felt noticably more relaxed. Mary Jo was super friendly and provided such a neat experience. Can't wait to go back and bring my friends for a girl's night!
