I just moved to the area and was in desperate need of a hair refresh. I had never had a curly cut before, and also had never had bangs lol. I made a consultation with Alisha where she explained the process of a curly cut and we discussed what I wanted for my hair. The fact that Lavish offers a free hair consult was one of the big things that made me choose this salon: I wanted to be able to talk to a stylist before committing to the cut. The actual day of the cut was great!! Alisha listened to me on what i wanted and she delivered!!! She also answered all my questions about what products she recommends for my hair and of course gave her input on what would look best on me. i’m so incredibly happy with my hair. I have had 2 appointments with Alisha and cannot say enough good things. Her consultation is very thorough and she makes sure she understands what you want to achieve and then she makes recommendations on proper at home care and salon care so that you can achieve the curls of your dreams. She is by far the best curry hair stylist I have been too. I have loose cutls that are gray and she has brought them back to life ! Highly recommend

I stopped in randomly for a bang trim, hoping they could squeeze me in, and I'm so glad I did! They were happy to take me, everyone was friendly and welcoming, and I actually ended up getting a full wash/cut and blowout! The cut came out awesome, and I left with so much bounce and volume in my normally fine/straight hair! The owner was sweet and accommodating, and the woman who cut my hair (Alyssa, I believe) was also fantastic and easy to talk with. I've already recommended them to my friend with curly hair (since that's their specialty), and I made another appt to come back. Great find here in EP!

Lavish Salon is the Best Salon in all of Rhode Island for all hair textures. Specifically, as a black woman with very textured 4C hair, Lavish Salon provided me with the most comfortable and empathetic curly/coily hair experience. I am still blown away and in complete awe with the work and dedication of my stylist, Alyssa Aloisio. Alyssa is a very special hair stylist that specializes in curly hair and can also work with many other hair textures.
