Lavish Nail & Spa

Not very happy with the nail services that I received I went in with a picture of what I wanted, and the nail tech could not do some of it understandable but she did not do a very good job. Overall, the lines are not even the nails are not even And after paying $85 and a $10 tip it wasn’t worth it to me.

I went to Lavish for the first time today. The place was clean and the nail tech was very nice. However, I got a full set with dip powder. Mind you 1 color only, black! I requested them to be filed ballerina style, she seemed to have no idea what that was. She filed them part coffin/ part squared! They are crooked, poorly filed and I have permanent dip powder that I either have to take off using acetone or go to someone who knows what they are doing, there are parts of my nails that are unpainted, then there are parts of my cuticles and fingers that are painted sealed with dip powder. This is one of the sloppiest nail appointments I have ever had, also they were not! sealed with a proper dip top coat, just a regular one, she put me under a nail dryer for 10 minutes. So I use to get my nails done by Tony and couple time he did good, but mostly of time I wasn't happy. First problem communication was very hard he doesn't understand English enough. Than I decided to get with Steeve because my mom and my sister in law see him couple times and they're both very happy. Unfortunately that month I had car accident and had to cancel , than I call the place book appointment with Tony with the owner of salon and when I arrived they said he doesn't want to do your nails because you were never happy okay I totally understand I wanted to be nice one more time to try to make it work but seems like they don't want it. Totally fine they said Steeve will take you I wanted to book Friday November 7th they said he has nothing till Monday on 10th I agree and booked on 10th

I went Saturday for a regular pedicure. The lady was clearly in a rush but I still gave her a 20% tip. To make a long story short when I put my sneakers on the next day, the paint was ruined. Why?? Because she used gel polish!!!! I had to go back which wasn’t a big deal, a bit of an inconvenience. What bothered me was I never received an apology for their mistake or for my inconvenience. Had I not had the time to go back in I would have paid 50 bucks to have to walk around with a horrible looking, half assed job. I’ve been going there for a long time. There are a lot of salons around to choose from. Do better.

100% my favorite salon so far in the area. Very relaxing, clean, kind employee's that include you in their conversations. Most salons I go to I am never spoken to and feel very rushed. They took their time, made sure I liked my nails before leaving and really focused on detail. I will return and refer to all my friends. Tony is my go to nail technician! I absolutely love his work!! Steven is another fantastic nail artist! Amber does beautiful work, I personally have never had her though! 10 months later, tony is still absolutely slaying the game. He truly is a super hero in his work! I never feel uncomfortable or unhappy with my nails leaving. He constantly checks in to make sure I like it between shaping, color, etc.
