Lovely stylists but owner charges way too much for basic items. $275 to do standard wash (no deep conditioning or trim), blow dry, and braiding/twists (not even small but larger sections or really long extensions), not including tip, is ridiculous. Also the owner is not that personable. Too many ppl thought I was crazy for even going there when they knew of several comparable and knowledgeable salons that can braid or twist within 5 hours not 8 hours, and that charge significantly less. Also the few times I went there some twists ended up unraveling when I got home which I fixed myself or removed after a few weeks. The stylists, proximity, and open time slots was what saved them but other than that, save your money. There are other places that are equivalent or better (location and qua
DAMITA DAMITA DAMITA… THIS WOMAN RUINED MY HAIR!! Don't be fooled by the 4 point whatever stars. Simply read her reviews on what she's done to other women and how she dismisses them instead of taking accountability for her lack of knowledge and expertise of doing hair professionally. Realistically I could've done this myself and probably better. I recently visited this salon with high hopes, excited to get a new hair color inspired by a photo I loved. Unfortunately, my experience was deeply disappointing. The stylist lacked the expertise to handle my hair correctly, resulting in an uneven, orange, and yellow color with noticeable banding. The roots were left unsmudged and the overall blend was poor. The toning was barely there, leaving my hair dry, brittle, and far from the inspiration ph
I had a booked appointment for 2:30 and din't sit in the chair till 3:00. I would understand 5-10 minutes behind but it was 30 minutes. While getting my hair done I was switched out with another client twice. I had tribal braids done and the box braids in the back are some of the worst that I've had done. And the ends of my braids are horrible. I now have to spend time to redo them for no reason when I had paid to get my hair done. The only thing I should do to my hair is maintain it not redo the ends. The stylist didn't even bother to cut the ends sticking out of the braids after putting them in hot water. The service I booked was a $100 but I paid $165 for it outrageous because that's how mush I pay for a full head of medium size box braids. And out of $165, 65 dollars of that was for mi
Horrible/Worst experience ever. The hair dresser doesn’t even know how to cut a basic A line bob. She almost took 2 hours to do a simple, easy cut. On top of that She doesn’t have a proper professional scissors for a cut. She was using a paper cutting scissors, which we use at home for cutting papers or price tags etc. Plus she says, will charge $20 for a cut. When I sat on the chair, she said it’s $40 because you need a proper cut. I accepted. After 2 hours when she finally satisfied to give me such a horroble pixie cut. She was asking me if I’m okay with the cut, I told her let’s see after the blow dry how my hair looks, she said for a blow dry she will charge me extre $25 dollars. If I go to any fancy, professional salon they will charge me max $50 with everything thing included, shamp
My last two times there weren't as good as the first two times. They getting sloppy. Rushing thru and not sealing my my braids properly. When I got home I had to go online to learn how to tie up the end of braids because some of them were coming undone from the bottom up. Thank God for you tube. Manefa is great! She's very gentle and dud a great job on my hair. It's been a while since I've been to a salon since my beautician retired. Glad to find a new place I feel comfortable at.
