My experience here was far from ideal. I’ve tried to give this salon multiple chances to prove that my money was worth their services, and I always left wondering why I came and spent so much money in the first place. They charge outrageous prices for the awful service they provide. My nails were always chunky and thick, not filed down smoothly, and never cleaned up right. The polka nails? $85… for something I could’ve gone home and done myself. The milky white nails? $65… unbelievably sharp and not filed down correctly, and I had to go home and file them down myself. I do not want to pay outrageous prices for service that’s just not great. I’m very disappointed, and will not be coming here again.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. My nails came out looking nothing like what I asked for — uneven, patchy, and just plain sloppy. The polish was lumpy, colors didn’t blend, and there was powder and residue left all around my cuticles. One nail was literally a completely different color, and when I pointed it out, they brushed it off like it was fine. When I had politely asked them to remove them so I could leave, they then asked me what was wrong with me and proceeded to try to make me feel bad about the design I chose. To make it worse, they still charged full price for a set that looks like it was done by a beginner practicing for the first time. I left feeling embarrassed and frustrated. I have been to many salons in Greenville. This is my nail place. Everyone is so nice. The place is clean and welcoming. Always happy when I leave. They always make sure they do exactly what you want and you are satisfied before you leave. I love LaVie!

I used to come to this place all the time, but this experience was disappointing and I won’t be returning. My mom’s nails turned out good; however, my daughter’s did not. I asked for very basic heart designs and was clear that I wanted only hearts, but dots were added and the hearts were messy. I paid $30 for my daughter’s nails, which felt disappointing for the quality as it was just nail polish. My nails were awful but they were not filed correctly and the heart designs were sloppy and not worth the $70 and I will have to pay to get them fixed! The only positive was how kind the nail tech was, and my daughter did enjoy the experience. *** I do not recommend, especially based on the owner’s response. I rarely ever have my nails done and am an introvert so it's not the most comfortable experience, but Will did a great job and was kind and made me feel comfortable. He was very gentle. I've had nail techs file my skin before, but Will was careful and my nails turned out nice. I had him paint and shape my natural nails.
