Launch Pad 39A

When i saw Launch pad 39a, It was still setup for launching Space Shuttles (2012) with the shuttle shaped indentation in the superstructure. We only saw this on a drive by of the FSC tour buses (which were fabulous and very informative). One of the crawlers was on the platform area.

Once in a lifetime experience. I highly recommend taking the KSC bus tour from Kennedy Space Center to visit as it is really worth it. Great educational experience for kids as well with up close views of SpaceX new Launch Pad 39A which will be used to send astronauts to the moon again in 4-5 years.

Historic site in the National space program, today used by SpaceX for many of their launches. Accessible with a paid tour from NASA’s visitor center. Launches can be clearly seen for free from Playalinda beach, or with the paid tour.

The friend had a rocket launch on her bucket list.So we went over there to see a rocket launch. I have been there in the past, But it's been a long time ago. We watched the launch from the beach behind the Best Western Hotel. The video I have is not that great because of the wind. We had a really good time.
