This was my second time at this Hair Salon, and I’m just as impressed as the first! The team is so nice and patient, and the salon itself is clean, spacious, and welcoming. They are true hair specialists who really care about the health of your hair. I love that every style I’ve asked for has been reproduced exactly like the picture. Another big plus is that you can bring your laptop and get some work done while being pampered — such a convenient touch! Highly recommend Latifa Hair Salon for anyone looking for professionalism, care, and amazing results.

Latifah's hair braiders are fantastic! The staff is very accommodating and will take the time to give you the style that you want, whether its based on a picture of a style or given a description. Today was a photo I shared of a style, and my stylist worked it out with my few gray hairs included. Love it!!! Highly recommend

I regularly go to Latifa for 3 strand twists, and they are always the best twists I have ever had done. I get compliments on their freshness for days (sometimes even weeks) after they are done. I’ve waited up 2 months to have my old braids taken down and they are so patient and gentle (I am a tender-headed man who is new to salons) and they are able to take down my hair easily. This is because they’re very skilled with taking down, but also because the twists are well done in the first place and hold up so well. They are primarily French speaking but language has never been a negative issue, it allows them to welcome a wider community. Just moved to New York and I am grateful to have found a quality hair shop that can take care of my natural hair and do my braids, sew in and whatever other hair style I need. I truly enjoyed my experienced. I met the owner Mama and she really gave made sure I got exactly what I wanted. I am excited to have this place, as my new salon.
