LATHER: a hair co. for him & her

Do not go here!!!! My mother had a terrible experience. The girl who did her hair did the complete opposite of what she wanted. And when my mom told her this was not what she asked (also had 45 min consultation before appointment) stylist was rude and argumentative. My mom then reached out to the owner and she was just as rude and argumentative. Also when speaking to the owner was told the stylist would correct it, and she never contacted my mother. When my mom reached out to her about getting it fixed due to not hearing back from her, stylist said "do not contact me at this number anymore." Never in my mother or myself life have we ever had to deal with such disrespect with a stylist, let alone the salon owner.

My artist was Kate, I showed her two pictures and she said she could do that. I asked for a wolf cut with bangs, around shoulder length. She gave me a bob with barely any layers. The layers look like a bowl cut on top of the bob. I asked her about the bangs and she didn’t cut it straight. The bangs are very uneven. I’m very disappointed in this service. I will not be going back. Again, very disappointing.

I have always had my wife cut my hair in the kitchen in the past. Until I went to Lather for the first time. The ladies there treat me well, one in particular (Bonnie) washes my hair afterward to make sure all the little clippings don't fall everywhere (everyone hates how itchy that can be!). The last time she put in some awesome smelling stuff called Taffy or some such thing. It smelled terrific, like having candy in my hair. In all seriousness, you cannot go wrong at Lather, as it is truly for him & her.

2 out of 3 times that I've been there and it was cut wrong . First time she barely cut and didn't listen to what I wanted at all. 2nd TIME was awesome! Loved the cut , 3rd time butchered. Gotta boys cut, short short short on sides and not enough taken off in back. Won't go back

Ask for Kate. She's an excellent hairstylist. I get tons of compliments after every haircut by her. Even my picky teenage son likes her!
