I recently visited La Vie Aesthetics & Wellness to meet with Dr. Lisa Smaldone after getting my bloodwork done, hoping to get a better understanding of my overall health and what steps I could take to improve it. I have stage 4 lung cancer. I have been looking for a clinic where I could recieve medical grade vitamin C IV infusion. I had received a referral to Dr. Tarbert-Smaldone and had heard she was an excellent doctor. As you might suspect, I am on partial disability and have a tight budget. I was told the 1st appointment there would be a blood draw and I would need to pay $25. OK. After the blood was drawn I scheduled the next appointment to speak to the doctor. I was told I needed to pay $50 to hold the appointment. I had not heard about this cost at all. I shared my financial restrictions with them and told them I didn't not have it. I have health insurnace but I’d rather spend money to come to this clinic to see Dr Smaldone and her staff. She spends an hour with you, you can do labs at her office or at labcorp and speaking about labs, she can do genetic testing, regular labs, labs for your gut, etc… Money can’t buy the time Dr Smaldone spends with you to help you and if she can not help you, she will find someone who can and refer you there! Not only can she be your primary care but she offers all kinds of facial care, skin care, and weight loss to name a few.
