La Rive Spa

Work conference at the hotel so a month in advance I booked a massage for the day before. Thought I’d come over early and get a 90 minute massage and relax the rest of the evening before sitting through 12 hours of meetings. 4 hour drive over the pass and an hour before my massage I get an email that there’s no massage therapist to do my massage and my appointment was canceled. Requested a call from the manager and 2 hours later she finally gets around to calling me. She offered me a rescheduled appointment for 2 days later when I’ll be back on the west side. Other than that nothing else to make up for my wasted time and money (extra hotel night). Beware about scheduling ahead here just fyi. I had a wonderful experience at the spa! It is a beautiful place with lots of different amenities. My favorite piece of the whole experience was getting my nails done by Bonnie! I felt so cozy and comfortable! Bonnie is so very kind and makes sure your nails are perfect! I got GelX for the first time and I am in love! Thank you Bonnie!

I was beyond disappointed with my visit to LaRive Spa. I chose it hoping for a special and relaxing experience to treat both my friend and myself, but unfortunately, it fell short. Upon check-in, we were directed to the pedicure chairs, and I asked what I should do with my belongings. I was simply told to hold everything with me on the chair. We weren’t offered any spa amenities or additional touches to enhance the experience. When I sat down, I was unpleasantly surprised to see several nail clippings from the previous client on the floor, which was quite gross and made me question the cleanliness standards. Paige gave me and my crew the best experience! We celebrated my husbands 40th birthday there and the pedicures were top notch and we had the best time! 10/10 recommend and cannot wait to be back!
