La Belle Hair Braiding

Came here for the second time over the weekend and was pleased with the results again. I called ahead to make an appointment and when I showed up at my time they were busy, but they had a braider and chair ready. The owner of the shop started braiding my hair as well within an hour. My micro braids were finished in a little over 4 hours. I purchased some hair online that I wasn't too pleased with, but my experience at La Belle was great. I will be back for a touch-up and other styles.

I like the work that they do here, but the shop is dirty and the furniture is outdated. I recently visited this shop to get crochet braids. I called and made an appointment, which I was able to get​ at the time and date I wanted. When I came into the shop I was greeted and acknowledged (Which is how it should be). I was a few minutes early for my appointment​, so my braider stayed in the back room with her friend until it was my appointment time. The lady that braided my hair was very pleasant and worked quickly. O really like my hair, however, here are the 3 things I did not like: 1. As I stated above the shop was dirty. I was always reluctant to go to hair braiding shops, but I've gotten my hair done in August 2017 in medium size box braids. They lasted until mid October. Not one braid slipped out, my edges were not bothered (they actually grew) and I've still recieved compliments in October. Will be returning.

I been going to this shop for two years. And they typically were ok. However, the one time I had to send my man to take my daughter they went up on the price. Men don’t know much about hair and how things go. So when they saw dad they charged him extra. Once I asked about when did price change because it was never mentioned to me and I’ve been the one communicating and shopping with them;The attack came on to my daughter. Basically saying she looks grown which (she is only 12yrs old) and since I complained about them going up on dad if, I bring her back she gets charged the same amount as she would charge an adult. Bottom line is if you send your man let him know exactly how you and them do business or they will get over on him.

I’ve been here several times and I always love my hair. I always have the young, tall, thin beautiful girl who does an amazing job. She is fast, focused and my head never hurts. Well I got the older ladies with the kids and I asked her to please not braid my edges too tight. I never leave reviews but I’m in so much pain, I had too speak out. I’ve been getting braids for 10 years and I’ve never had anybody braid my hair this tight. I’ve broken out in bumps and blister. My whole head is literally throbbing in pain, I’ve taken Morton, Excedrin And Tylenol and it’s still bad. I can’t sleep at all, I can’t even lay down. I’m Tired and sluggish at work from being sleep deprived, This is ridiculous! These two were the worst. They were so unprofessional! They acted like I came to their home
