La barbería VIP

Very bad, I was charged $50.00. the guy was cutting my hair and screaming in my ear that's just rude. His hands smelled like weed. Besides my haircut looked horrible friends were making fun of me. I think the guy's name is Pablo. I don't think I'm ever going back.

I feel like I need to leave two separate reviews on the two separate barbers that we had. My younger son age 3 was receiving his first haircut and Louis was going to be his barber. I asked for a small undercut and a small trim. Louis was great in confirming what I wanted and my 3yo was happy and comfortable the whole time. 5 stars for Louis. My oldest son age 5 was seated by Pablo. When my son asked if he could watch his tablet while getting his hair cut Pablo said no and set it aside. This should have been my cue to take my 5yo out of his chair. I asked Pablo for a small undercut and no trim. I apologized for not combing his hair out prior and he told me it was fine. I pointed to where on my 5yos head I was thinking I wanted the cut and I went to check on my 3yo. When I came back to my 5

Needed a cut and my normal barber is out town so I decided to try this spot and what a disaster. Pablo gave me the worst fade I’ve ever paid for completely different on each side and not even blended right.

The quality of this shop has dropped since Rey sold El Rey’s shop to a non-barber Cuban friend. I went in for a cut at an affordable price for this town, $20. It wasn’t a bad quality cut and the clippers were fresh to not cut you up. I didn’t appreciate all the Hispanic guys throwing the n word around constantly and laughing hysterically right over their clients faces/heads. I’m used to barbershop environments but this one is different, especially since there was a little kid waiting for a cut from Mauro hearing all this. Mauro is the only saving grace of this shop.

I brought my 4 year old son to El Rey’s barbershop and we met one of the barbers Mauro. My son told him how he wanted his hair and Mauro did a fantastic job. He was so nice and kid friendly. My son was laughing and loved his haircut. I definitely recommend this barbershop. 100% customer service, clean, professional and friendly. My fiancé goes there too and they do everything perfect the way he wants his hair.
