Kris Dominican Doobie Palace

I had an amazing experience at Kris Dominican Doobie Palace salon! My hair was destroyed and so brittle after I tried to cut it myself and completely messed it up. Thanks to Aurora, my hair came back to life. She did an incredible job, so gentle, patient, and talented. Everyone in the salon is so kind and welcoming. You feel comfortable the minute you walk in. I absolutely love this place and highly recommend it!

I have been coming here for a few years now. Moving from NY to NJ it was difficult to find a Dominican hair salon. Last week I came in for a wash, rollers and blow out at the roots then I normally ask for pin curls to minimize the heat in my hair. Aurora was the person who took care of me and she is phenomenal! She washed my hair thoroughly, she is very knowledgeable about hair care. I hardly ever try a new person to cut my hair but based on her suggestion and the way she was being attentive and careful I trusted her to clip my ends. The woman has magic hands. She’s also friendly and kind. She’s careful to not burn your hair while she’s blowing it out. I’ve had my hair blown out by other ladies here and they are all just as good, but to me Aurora is the icing on the cake! Thank you!

Loved this salon! They took their time with my blowout and gave me such a nice cut. All the girls were super friendly my hair came out so good. Highly recommend

I had an amazing experience at the beginning of January 2026. I was wondering they wouldn’t be able to help with my natural 4c hair but they do an AMAZING job! They are extremely thorough and took her time on my hair. I was in & out becuase I went first thing in the morning. My blow out & trim have lasted 4weeks. I could go longer but I want my hair washed.

Chris is an undercover demon. I had an issue over 10 years ago where my daughter‘s coat was stolen out of there. They have a camera and she claims that the camera wasn’t on that particular day. Of course I was upset. My daughter have been back there and have gotten her hair done a couple times since then I go in there on Thursday Ask her if she remember me she said yes, and she butchered my hair It took me one year to get my hair right so I can color it platinum blonde and she cut all the color out of my hand back just but you did all kinds of ways so sad I was due to go to a wedding. I’m heading there this morning and I’m calling the police and I’m pressing charges against her.
