My long-term massage therapist moved and I despaired about finding a replacement. A friend recommended me to Laurea and she has been wonderful. She asks good questions about pressure (and is very strong if you need deep pressure work) and can chat or be silent depending on what you need. She has a cozy space in the back of a chiropractic office and online scheduling is easy. Highly recommend.

Laurea is a wonderful massage therapist. I came to her specifically because she is trained in Myofascial Release Therapy (MRT), a type of massage that is particularly beneficial to people with chronic pain, as it does not trigger the nervous system the way that a traditional massage might. After my first massage with Laurea, it was the first time I didn't feel worse in the week after the massage, and actually felt a bit better! My back, neck, and hip started slowly to release after several sessions, and I continued to come back to Laurea during a challenging period of pain symptoms. Laurea is amazing! I was lucky that she had a 2-hour window. I'd tweaked my hip running and was on the road for work. She was very professional, asked questions about the pressure and treatment. After the session, I walked back to the hotel. By the time I made it to the front door, because of her treatment, I was walking without a limp or any pain. It was nothing short of a miracle. If you're lucky enough to find time in her busy schedule, you should jump at the chance. Your body will thank you.

Laurea is just the best! I have been receiving massages from her for the past 2+ years and she is hands-down my favorite massage therapist! She is so knowledgeable about the bodies’ anatomy that she can almost trace sore muscles that I didn’t even realize were sore or tight. She is athletic herself and understands what effect sports have on the body. She has a warm and caring personality and is happy to talk or not based on following her client’s lead. She always has a variety of slots to book online and is in such a convenient location.

Laurea is extremely good at what she does. She is also a great listener. During my last session I explained to her that I was having soreness in my left shoulder. She worked her magic and got me back to where I needed to be. I’ll definitely be coming back and I’d recommend her to anyone that is looking for a great massage.
