Kingsman Barbershop

Kingsman Barber Shop is easily one of the most underrated spots in Leesburg. I’ve had cuts from Lisa, Kim, and Andy, and every single one of them does an incredible job on both my hair and beard. They are attentive to detail and actually listen to exactly what you want. Even when there is a short wait (which is rare!), they never rush the haircut and always take their time to get it right. Great conversation, friendly atmosphere, and consistent quality. I’m a customer for life!

The shop really does treat you like a king. I had the shave my head and face. It was all $37, which I thought was a great deal. I had a straight razor face shave at Hammer and Nails in Leesburg, and the continue to pressure you about getting a membership. Kingsman is a traditional barbershop, no memberships, which is wonderful. The whole process was very relaxing. The only thing that bothered me a little was that they used a cartridge razor prior to using the straight razor; the barber said this was due to my skin being sensitive. When I got a shave at Hammer and Nails, they only used clippers and and electric razor to get the length of the beard down lower, then used the straight razor. I just was not expecting a cartridge razor. Ending on a positive note, the whole experience was great

I have been to this place twice with unsatisfactory results. The barbers have trouble understanding English. I like wearing my longish and both times explicitly asked for a very light trim—indicting with my fingers the tiny amount of hair to remove. But, no. Out came the electric shears and before I could react, large hunks of my hair were shorn off, leaving only stubble on the sides and back. Military-style haircuts (aka fades) is all they know how to do. I'm not going back.

I have been going to this barber for around 6 months. I am bald and I just get my beard trimmed up. I always had good trims. I had Doug about two months ago and I think it was his first day at this barber. I now return and request him. He does an excellent job with my beard. I also enjoy having conversation with him. He is an old school barber which I think is awesome and rare these days. Change of owners Doug left. I found a new barber. The headrest for the chairs always slip during beard trims. Moved up the street to another barber and have had better luck.

Terrific place to get haircut where you are treated has a special customer and not as a number. I get a great haircut with the owner Grace who has a wonderful manners. She is not only proficient in cutting & styling but puts you at ease to make you feel relaxed through the whole haircut. I always look forward to going to get a hair cut at the Kingsman Barbershop.
