King's Barber Shop

I recently accompanied my boyfriend to Kings Barber Shop for a haircut. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. The barber who cut his hair, located on the far right, was consistently distracted by his phone, interrupting his work and causing a significant lack of focus. When my boyfriend returned home, I was shocked by the poor quality of the haircut. It was clear that the barber had not done a good job. I immediately called the shop to express our dissatisfaction and request a refund. The person on the phone agreed and instructed us to return. Upon our return, the barber asked what was wrong with the haircut. When I pointed out the issues, it was evident that he couldn't see the problem himself. I had seen the reviews of some of the bad haircuts. It never happened to us and we really enjoyed it there. Supporting veterans, it was awesome. But, sadly, we will never go back. It would not have been a big thing. People make mistakes. But, when ya don't own up to it and say, opps or I don't know I'm sorry. Then I'm still changed $27.00, and then i give a 10.00 tip. I didn't inspect him because I trusted them, and that's on me.

I will start by saying that the environment is nice and they have clippers designed for little kids. They’re cordless making it easier to move around and significantly quieter. That was really great. They were very patient with my 2 year old. I will also say that my 2 year old has difficult hair to cut (in my opinion). It shows everything because it’s very fine and very light in color. He has had his hair cut 5 or 6 times now and it has never grown out well or looked really good. But even with that being said, this was the worst haircut he’s ever had. There’s weird distinct lines across his hair, it’s not blended and goes from short on the sides to longer on top without transition. I would have said something while we were there, but it was a little rushed and because it was wet I couldn’t

My son (17) went in alone, and wanted to pay for his own haircut. Not only did they cut his hair badly, they said they didn't have change and my son felt that he had to tip even though he was very unhappy with the cut. At the very least I know my son walked away the better man, learned to be gracious. Kings Barber shop should know better.

This was my first visit to King’s and my first professional haircut after 14 years of shaving my own head with a razor. The barber was amazing. He got to me quickly and did exactly what I asked for. He was friendly, professional, honestly I couldn’t have asked for more. After having everywhere closed for the COVID issue it was nice to get my hair back into uniform regulations. The environment in the shop is very nice and relaxing. I truly enjoyed the visit. I will be going back there from now on and plan on getting my son’s hair cut there too.
