Kim's Nails

The nails are long-lasting...but the artists are poor when it comes to intricate designs. They can do french tips at best (and thats if they don't come out a little wonky). No charms, gems, neat designs etc. Still good salon though.

I just left this location and I am livid. I originally arrived around 9:30 AM and didn’t leave this establishment until 12:30 PM. Originally when I came to the location, I was directed to the back of the salon and the young lady immediately started working on my toes. That process was fine. I have no complaints. She did basic black nail polish. I love the shape. I’m happy with that part. The issue starts with my nails. Originally, I wanted the white design shown below and noticed that Maria was having a very difficult time doing this design. She attempted to do it three times. I noticed her frustration and I told her it’s OK. We could do the cow print. I showed her the cow print design and she shook her head and appeared to agree that this design would be easier for her. I called and was told pedicure with gel was $30…. I ended up paying 51.75….. let’s start there when I came nobody said hello the lady with the glasses ran to the old man to tell him don’t let anyone else in, they are here on appointment and whatever else she said to him without saying hello or anything. Another lady did my feet & didn’t no where near a good job I just sat there saddened. She rushed me to attended to the lady who wanted her feet done at the same time as her daughter after there waxes which I’m guessing was the appointment. The massage chair did not work at all. The water was still filled up while doing my feet the whole way through on paper towel while everyone else had a towel. I've been working remotely for weeks due to an illness and was scheduled to return to the office today. I was excited to return to work and naturally wanted to put my best foot forward. This was my first time here and decided to go with a basic mani, pedi and wax my eyebrows and upper lip. The mani and pedi was pretty good but when it came time for my waxing, the manicurist told the owner and the owner told another worker. During the waxing it was painful and she was very rough. I thought it was painful because it had been a while since I waxed my face. After the service was over I paid, left and I went to a restaurant next door and within minutes I felt something happening to my face. I love Kim’s nails. Rosa is an amazing artist and has so many cool techniques! She did this shiny gold French for me yesterday and I’m in LOVE! 😍 Pedicures at Kims are always on point too!
